Here's another simple answer, with a more complex explanation. No. And here's why. In my first year doing weddings, I would let a Bride change things in her collection. I thought it was a win-win. What I didn't realize was that it was a lose-lose. The engagement session is a relationship builder for you, your fiancé, and I. I learn the best way to pose you, I learn that you have a good side, I learn that you love forehead kisses more than I do. And most of all, YOU realize you made the best decision hiring me to shoot your wedding.

I'm an impatient person, and while I wish I could give you your Wedding photos the very next day, I'm also not superwoman. But I can also promise you that you won't have to wait six months for your memories, as well. So, that being said, my contract says 4-6 weeks. Depending on the season and how many weddings and engagement sessions I have to edit, there's a HUGE possibility that you won't even wait three weeks

How soon can I expect my wedding photos?

I first schedule a consultation with all inquiring couples. We'll sit down, get to know one another, and I'll walk you through the collections, PASS, and albums. I take some basic information from you (names, numbers, addresses, venue locations, etc). After our meeting, I'll send you your contract and invoice for wedding photography services electronically! It's super easy to sign the contract, you just use your mouse, or your finger if you're on a laptop or phone. Then you have seven business days for me to receive your retainer. The retainer is $1000 and is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Oh my goodness! OF COURSE! Timelines are super important for your wedding day, and can be stressful if you don't know where to begin. Anywhere from 4-6 weeks before the wedding, we'll sit down together, either in person or on the phone, and work on your timeline. When planning the start time of your ceremony, keep in mind what time the sun sets. If you're having a winter wedding, and not doing a first look, we could be limited with natural light for your portraits after the ceremony.

First and foremost, you can expect a calm person in your world of hectic. You can expect another Bridesmaid. Someone to help lace your dress, bustle your dress, keep track of your bouquet, and make sure your groomsmen are in line. You can expect direction and order. It is my job to not only take beautiful photos of your perfect day, but to also make sure you are as much of a stress-free bride as possible.
